Napier St
A hidden gem that you might just stumble across strolling the streets of East Vancouver. This residence was built in 1909 in the Arts & Crafts style of architecture, displaying it’s Edwardian lineage with acute symmetry and classical style influences. This home was designed by the Grant & Henderson architecture firm in the early 1900′s, a prolific builder throughout the Vancouver and New Westminister areas. This Arts & Crafts home was built for Thomas Evans, who was one of the first men of the printing press to make his way to the city of Vancouver and the Evans family owned and lived in the home until 1952. In 2010 this home was in great disrepair but caught the eye of a Vancouver couple that could see the home’s potential and true character beyond its dilapidated exterior. EXLE restored this home back to its original 1909 character & integrity with the assistance of a Vancouver Heritage Consultant. Just another beautiful heritage home in Vancouver by the Extraordinary League Contracting team.
